On a phone, a phone number in the footer is four\nscrolls away, and a contact form is a wall. A bottom bar puts the action under\nthe thumb on every page, which is the whole idea.<\/p>\n\n<h4>What you can put in it<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Click to call button<\/strong> \u2014 taps straight into the dialler<\/li>\n<li><strong>WhatsApp button<\/strong> \u2014 opens a chat, with a message already written if you want<\/li>\n<li><strong>Text message button<\/strong> \u2014 SMS, with a prefilled body<\/li>\n<li><strong>Email button<\/strong> \u2014 with a prefilled subject<\/li>\n<li><strong>Directions button<\/strong> \u2014 opens the map app with your address<\/li>\n<li><strong>Social profile buttons<\/strong> \u2014 thirty networks, drawn in their own colours<\/li>\n<li><strong>Link, page, or scroll to a section<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Share and back to top<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Four buttons is the most that fits on a narrow phone without labels being cut\nshort, so the plugin caps it there and tells you why rather than letting you\nfind out on a visitor's screen.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Nine starter kits<\/h4>\n\n<p>Deciding what belongs in the bar is harder than configuring it, so there is a\none-click starting point for a restaurant, a clinic or salon, a trade call-out,\nan online shop, a blog, a portfolio, and a row of social profiles. Everything\nstays editable afterwards.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Four looks, including a frosted glass dock<\/h4>\n\n<p>Glass, the default, is a frosted panel floating clear of the screen edges, much\nlike the dock at the bottom of a phone. Sliders set how see-through it is and\nhow strongly it blurs what sits behind it. Solid drops the translucency for busy\nphotography. Minimal removes the panel entirely. Bold fills the bar in a colour\nyou choose.<\/p>\n\n<p>Light and dark colour sets are set separately, so dark mode is what you decided\nrather than an automatic inversion of your brand colour.<\/p>\n\n<h4>See it before you save<\/h4>\n\n<p>The settings screen shows a live preview of the real bar, drawn with the real\nstylesheet, standing on a photograph, a light page or a dark page, at 320, 375\nand 414 pixels wide. It warns you when a label is too long for the number of\nbuttons.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Works with any theme, and with page builders<\/h4>\n\n<p>The bar needs no placement work: it appears by itself on every page you allow\nit on, in any theme.<\/p>\n\n<p>To also drop the same row of buttons inside your content, use the shortcode\n    [dicebar]. It works in the block editor, in a widget, in a theme\ntemplate, and in Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, Bricks and Oxygen. Rules that depend on which\npage you are looking at run on the server and cache correctly. It is a\nfrosted translucent panel with a blur behind it, floating clear of the screen\nedges. Transparency and blur strength are both sliders, so you can go from\nbarely-there glass to nearly solid. The live preview stands it on a photograph,\nwhich is where a translucent bar is hardest to read.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20it%20track%20my%20visitors%3F\"><h3>Does it track my visitors?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. Nothing is collected and nothing is sent anywhere.
