## Description
Contractor Commerce™ gives you a customizable online store on your company website
so you can sell products, services, and even fully-installed systems online.
#### Settings
* ‘Key’ is the app key provided by Contractor Commerce™
* ‘Page’ is the WordPress page your shop will be loaded on
* ‘Enable pricing page’ publishes a search-facing page of your current installed
prices at /pricing/ on your own domain. Off by default — nothing is published
until you switch it on
* ‘Page slug’ controls that page’s address
* ‘Refresh interval’ is how often we check your catalog for price changes, daily
or weekly
* ‘In-browser agent tools (WebMCP)’ is an experimental, off-by-default embed for
AI agents running in the visitor’s browser
* ‘Remove data on uninstall’ controls whether deleting the plugin also erases your
key and settings. Off by default, so a delete and reinstall keeps your setup

## Installation
1. Install the Contractor Commerce Integration plugin either via the WordPress plugin
directory, or by uploading the files to your web server (in the /wp-content/plugins/
directory).
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
3. Navigate to the ‘Contractor Commerce’ settings page to connect your Contractor
Commerce™ account and select the page you wish to use.
## FAQ
### Is my store customized to my company’s brand?
Yes! Everything Contractor Commerce™ offers is customized to your brand and your
company. All confirmation emails, packing slips, purchase receipts, etc. show your
company’s name and logo. Customers also stay on your website throughout the entire
purchasing process.
### Are there any risks or costs associated with Contractor Commerce™?
Our [Intro Plan](https://www.contractorcommerce.com/pricing/) has no cost and zero
risk. No credit card is required to sign up and nothing is ever charged to you.
We only make money when you sell products. A small dropshipping fee is included

### Can I sell any items I want?
Yes, with Contractor Commerce™ you are able to sell whatever you want, even if it’s
not part of our dropship catalogue. You are able to ship your own products, offer
them for pickup, deliver on your own truck, or if it’s a part of our dropship catalogue,
we can ship it for you!
### Can I set my own pricing?
Yes, you decide your own price and markup.
### Do I have to sign a contract?
No. There are no long-term commitments and every plan is month-to-month. You can
start, stop, upgrade, or downgrade at any time. There is an agreement that you sign
with standard terms and conditions, but it does not lock you into any payment schedule
for any length of time.
### What is the pricing page?
It publishes your current installed prices as a plain, indexable page on your own
website, so search engines and AI assistants cite your real numbers instead of third-
party estimates. Prices come from your Contractor Commerce catalog and refresh automatically
in the background — visitors never wait for that check. The page is not linked from
your menus and does not change any other part of your site. You can switch it off
at any time.
### Does the plugin contact your servers?
Yes. Once a day (or weekly, if you prefer) it fetches your published prices from
ai-interfaces.toolbox.contractorcommerce.com in the background. The pricing page
always renders from the copy stored on your own site, so a slow or failed check
never affects your visitors.
### I use Rank Math and a price change isn’t showing up in my sitemap yet.
Rank Math caches its own sitemap output separately from this plugin. The pricing
page itself always reflects the latest catalog data, but Rank Math’s sitemap file
may lag behind until its cache expires or is cleared (Rank Math Sitemap Settings).
This is not a bug in this plugin.
### My site uses “Plain” permalinks and the pricing page returns a 404.
The pricing page is served through a rewrite rule, so it can only be published when
your site uses a permalink structure other than “Plain” (Settings Permalinks).
With Plain permalinks selected, no rule can match and the page cannot be served
at all. The admin Diagnostics panel under Settings Contractor Commerce reports
this; switch to any other permalink structure to publish the page.
